Description
In my art series “A Long Journey from Home,” I explore the profound human experience of migration through a unique blend of realism and abstract symbolism that conveys the travails of the search for new dreams and comfort. I capture the tension between hope and despair that defines the migrants’ journeys. My technique often juxtaposes detailed figures against swirling, chaotic backgrounds to reflect turbulence. The muted color palette enhances the emotional gravity of their journey, capturing the tension between hope and adversity as they seek new lives amid uncertainty. Through my art, I emphasize the sacrifices made in pursuit of a new future. Each piece serves as a canvas for these narratives, illuminating our shared humanity amid adversity. Other artworks in this series are Lighted Horizon, Immigrant Child, and Light and the Tunnel
